Challenge

The home had been re-painted over existing moisture damage multiple times. Original building paper had fully deteriorated. Extensive dry rot found after siding removal — more than initially visible from outside.

What we did

Full siding tear-off, installed new WRB, structural repair at all rot locations, new Milgard Tuscany windows with full head flashing at all openings, James Hardie HardiePlank ColorPlus in Iron Gray.

Result

Full exterior renovation in 12 working days. Three prior contractors had given estimates that did not address the structural moisture damage.
