About VResh Construction — Built from the Ground Up
Owner-Operated by Vlad. Nearly Two Decades in Construction. 500+ Completed Projects. EPA Lead-Safe Certified. Licensed OR #241979 | WA #VRESHCL776ND.
Vlad's Story
Vlad started in construction at 16. He did not plan it — it was an opportunity that came at the right moment, a mentor who demanded precision, and a trade that turned out to suit him exactly. He spent his teenage years learning to measure twice, cut once, and understand that in exterior construction, the consequences of mistakes are rarely visible until years later — when the rot has spread behind a wall, or the window you installed without head flashing is letting water into a homeowner's framing with every rainstorm.
-
Over the next 15+ years, Vlad worked through every aspect of residential construction — installation, project management, and leading crews — often as the youngest person in a leadership position. He developed a strong point of view: the right way to do exterior work is not the fastest way. It is the way that identifies the moisture problem, repairs the structural damage, and installs new material with techniques and flashing details that prevent the problem from recurring. Every time, without exception.
In 2022, Vlad founded VResh Construction in Portland, OR. Not because starting a company is easy — it isn't — but because he wanted to build something he could be accountable for. A company where the work actually reflected his standards. Where homeowners could call the owner directly and get a straight answer. Where no one on the crew was going to patch over a problem and hope no one noticed.
Since its founding, VResh Construction has completed 500+ projects across the Portland metro and Southwest Washington. The company is still owner-operated. Vlad is still personally involved in every project. That is not going to change.

What VResh Construction Stands For
Respect for Your Home
Portland homeowners have built their lives in their homes. We treat every job site with that in mind — clean crew, organized tools, job site left clean at the end of every day, and every decision made as if it were our own home. Because Vlad has spent his career working in other people's homes, and that perspective has never left him.
Honest, Written Estimates
We do not do verbal estimates, ballpark figures over the phone, or pad estimates to give ourselves room to negotiate. You get a written estimate that says exactly what we will do, what materials we will use, what it will cost, and why. If we find something unexpected during the project that changes the scope, we tell you before we act on it. You approve it, or we discuss alternatives. No surprise invoices.
Fix the Problem — Not Just the Surface
This is the principle that guides every decision at VResh Construction. Most exterior failures — siding that rots, windows that leak, roofing that fails early — are not product failures. They are installation failures and moisture management failures. New siding installed over existing dry rot, windows installed without head flashing, decks with unflashed ledger connections — these are the patterns we see constantly on Portland homes, often done by contractors who knew better or should have known better. We do not do this. We find the source, fix the structure, and reinstall correctly.
Owner Accountability
Accountability requires a person, not a brand. When something goes wrong — and in construction, something occasionally does — the question is who answers for it. At VResh Construction, that person is Vlad. You can call him directly. He will answer. If a project did not go the way it should have, he fixes it. This is not a slogan. It is the only model we are comfortable operating.
Why Owner-Operated Still Matters in Portland Construction
Portland has hundreds of general contractors. Many are good businesses run by good people. But the structure of how a company operates determines what a homeowner actually experiences — especially when something unexpected happens mid-project.
What Happens at Most Larger Contractors
You meet a salesperson who writes the estimate. A project manager you may never meet schedules the work. A crew you have never spoken to shows up — sometimes subcontractors are hired job-by-job. If something goes wrong, you call a general number and work through a customer service process.
The people doing the work have no personal connection to the person who made the promises. Accountability is diffuse.
What Happens at VResh Construction
You call Vlad. Vlad visits the site, writes the estimate, and personally reviews the scope with you. The crew that shows up has worked together consistently — not strangers hired for the week. Vlad is accessible by phone throughout the project. If something changes, you hear it from him directly.
Accountability is not diffuse. It is one person who has put his name on the company, and who has every incentive to ensure your project goes right because his reputation — and his livelihood — depend on it.
The 500+ Project Track Record
VResh Construction has completed 500+ projects since its founding in 2022 — across siding, windows, roofing, dry rot repair, doors, interior renovation, decks, and specialty work on Portland historic homes.
That volume across 3+ years of operation, in a market where referrals and online reviews drive most new business, tells you something meaningful about quality and consistency. Contractors who cut corners do not survive on referrals in Portland.
